COMMUNITY PLOTS

These plots provide us with several exciting opportunities, one of which is to bring the benefits of fresh food to those who are not able to cultivate their own allotments. It is hoped to invite growers to use these plots to provide locally grown produce for sale to the local community.

We also plan to invite local schools to cultivate some of these areas to provide early school pupils with the opportunity to develop both a knowledge of gardening and an interest in the growing and consuming of organic fruit and vegetables, which it is hoped will lead them to enjoy all the benefits of a healthier lifestyle in the longer term.
