COMMEMORATIVE PLANTING
Even those who are not gardeners can still feel part of the site and get good use from it . A plan has been hatched to enable people to adopt or plant a tree , shrub or flowers. We hope that many people will agree that this is a lovely idea and take the opportunity to plant something in memory of someone dear to them , or to record a special occasion, such as a golden wedding, or to remember a special pet.
A designated area has been set aside for this purpose and in future years visitors will be able to sit a while, savour the beauty around them and call to mind those commemorated and those whose generosity made these gardens possible.
Dependant up on demand , the adoption of trees/shrubs throughout the site is an option.
It is hoped people will get comfort from this scheme and that future generations will support and respect the site and its use.
